Great place to walk and see the wild birds. A couple of bird hides there. Free entry, fascinating history and historical buildings to see, and a good gift shop and cafe too. Only open until 4.00 pm in winter and it's a big site so a second visit is best.

Amazing place, good to get respite and people are friendly.
Good to visit and theu seclude sections for summer and winter. It is vital for lobdon as there are some rare wildlife birds there

Great scenery but nothing to do but walk around. There are very few benches so I recommend not eating in there.

I use the wetlands a lot to go for walks, it's ok, nothing really exciting but good for exercise. My gripe is the cafe, sometimes I've waited ten minutes and just left because nobody has come to serve me, this has happened a few times, also found the staff to be a bit rude in the cafe, it's expensive and the quality isn't very good. What I don't need after being tired is to argue with the poor staff in the cafe, but the staff everywhere else seem to be more than helpful. It could really be an amazing cafe, unfortunately it's not very good, I live really close but go to another cafe by the canal with is much better, much cheaper and the staff there work hard and are polite and welcoming and it's a lot busier, if they can do it I'm sure the wetlands can, now I just stick my head into the cafe and if someone is serving I will just get a coffee and leave...And...it's been like this since it opened and there's been no improvement at all...

this place is fantastic for walking your dog. or just for jogging with friends in the woods. or in the massive park. there is a pond you can walk around it. so much to do and see. it's just a great place to go to. there is a cafe in the park. I go week days and weekend.

I'm grateful to live close to this beautiful place! You will not regret your visit to the Walthamstow natural reserve. Doesn't matter the season is always beautiful for a walk and meditate.
